About the Role

Finance and Accounting

  • Oversee the organization's accounting activities, including month-end closing and year-end closing, and review accounting results prepared by Asia SSC.
  • Ensure compliance with finance and accounting policies and procedures set forth by Franke, IFRS, and local regulations.
  • Manage credit control, invoicing, accounts receivable, and cash collection activities.
  • Coordinate with Asia SSC and Corporate Treasury for relevant treasury actions.
  • Ensure full compliance with tax and statutory reporting.
  • Coordinate with Global Tax, group controller, and external consultants on tax and transfer price matters.
  • Organize and control customs and VAT business processes and audits.
  • Coordinate audit activities with internal auditors and external audit firms.

Controlling and Reporting

  • Monitor business performance against budget and forecast expectations.
  • Analyze and control revenue, net margin, and cost (SG&A).
  • Provide management with controlling insights while reducing organizational costs.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting function.

Business Support/Partner

  • Provide commercial and analytical support to business decision-making.
  • Facilitate business strategy processes.
  • Work with sales personnel and customers to resolve credit issues on a commercially acceptable basis.
  • Understand the coffee system business and value.
  • Support business relationships and activities of distributors and key accounts from a financial perspective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Good communication skills in Chinese and English, with the ability to manage pressures.
  • 10 years of working experience, with 5 years of related experience in finance management, preferably in an MNC with trading business experience.
  • Expert knowledge of FP&A and commercial finance.
  • Profound knowledge of accounting and controlling methodologies, policies, and procedures, with relevant track records.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical abilities, with the ability to pose future scenarios and discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to break down priorities into tangible action plans.
  • Problem-solving skills, using rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
  • Adherence to a set of core values and beliefs, with high integrity.
  • Maturity, credibility, and comfort in dealing with senior-level company executives.
