Job Description:

Molex is seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to customers on our Optical Communication Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers on our Optical Communication Systems, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and sales to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers on our Optical Communication Systems, including product features, applications, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to provide informed advice and recommendations to customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in design, development, and deployment of Optical Communication Systems.
  • Proficient in C/C++ programming languages and experience with software development for Linux-based systems.
  • Familiarity with optical communication systems, including hardware and software components, and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide creative solutions.
