About the Vendor Consultant ProgramThe Vendor Consultant Program is designed to own operational business metrics and associated tasks for JP AVS vendors. This includes business metrics that require minimal financial judgment or commercial negotiations. The program aims to deliver this through a dedicated team of vendor consultants, who will act as the primary owner of business metrics for their assigned set of vendors.
The primary customer is our vendors, who subscribe to the AVS service with the intent to get a customized service that will augment their growth on Amazon. To delight our customers, we will aim to provide a high-quality service that exceeds our vendor's expectations by driving their growth on Amazon by improving metric performance.
About the RoleThe Vendor Consultant Manager leads a team of 10+ Vendor Consultants, collaborating internally with leaders from Retail and Vendor Services teams. The ideal incumbent in this role will always be on the lookout for opportunities to add value to Amazon's retail business through serving Amazon vendors.
The key activities include:
- Attracting and hiring top talent, onboarding, and continuous development of a Vendor Consultant team, maintaining a high delivery bar.
- Leading the team to deliver defined business metrics and quality goals by comprehensive solutions design and operational execution.
- Engaging directly with multiple internal teams to optimize business for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon websites.
- Connecting with JP Retail GL Leads for GL Priorities and Vendor Performance - Weekly/Bi-weekly.
- Owning GL/program-wide projects on metric deliverables, process optimization, and tech solutions.
- 6+ years of digital advertising and client-facing roles with a focus on data analysis experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
Preferred Qualifications- 2+ years of mentoring, leading, and coaching experience.
