Commercial Marketing Lead

Position Overview: We are in search of a dynamic and knowledgeable Commercial Marketing Manager who is enthusiastic about sound, music, and technology. This role involves managing our marketing efforts across social commerce platforms and retail environments in a fast-paced setting. You will be responsible for crafting the company's marketing strategy on emerging social commerce platforms, executing and assessing marketing initiatives to stimulate new business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy and create a customer-focused marketing plan that influences potential customers throughout the sales cycle and drives business outcomes.
- Identify new business prospects by analyzing emerging technologies, customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to maintain the highest quality standards in all marketing endeavors.
- Implement effective marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and boost sales on social commerce platforms, including but not limited to Douyin, RED, and Dewu.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to empower distributors in developing a content strategy and editorial calendar that strengthens our brand presence and thought leadership on social commerce platforms.
- Oversee retail marketing campaigns to meet sales objectives.
- Manage budgets effectively to ensure optimal use of marketing resources.
- Coordinate with colleagues in the GC marketing team for the planning and execution of specific projects as necessary.
- Assist the Head of Marketing, GC with additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a marketing role.
- Extensive knowledge and proven experience with social commerce platforms and retail environments.
- Ability to provide strategic marketing recommendations.
- Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and follow-through.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building and maintaining positive relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a flexible, proactive approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
- Able to work effectively in an international and multicultural setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specialization in Sales/Marketing.
- Experience in e-commerce or digital marketing.
