Job Title: Senior Account Manager

Join Covestro as a Senior Account Manager and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and communication skills. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing account strategies to drive business growth and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate business activities for key accounts, taking full responsibility for existing business, developing new projects, and managing customer project pipelines.
  • Develop and implement account strategies, aligning with industry, application, and product strategies, and communicate these plans with internal teams to achieve account targets.
  • Take ownership of running business in assigned territories, achieving sales targets in volume and margin.
  • Identify and qualify prospects, develop new opportunities, and ensure a continuous pipeline of opportunities with existing and new markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers of existing and potential buying accounts and key value chain customers.
  • Play a key role in sourcing and aggregating primary market information, sharing insights and knowledge within the company to support sales, product management, marketing, and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of commercial experience in the Polymer industry, with experience in Healthcare preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with project leading and management capabilities.
  • Good English language skills.
  • Strong learning capability and team player attitude.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in channel management and customer relationship management.
  • Acceptance of frequent travel.
  • Sound presentation skills for customer seminars.
