Business Development - Partnerships Sales - Shanghai Office
The Partnerships division is a specialist in institutional, financial brokers, and FinTech sales, providing white-labelled solutions for banks, asset & wealth management firms, Money Services Businesses, and software platforms. This role offers the opportunity to develop a deep relationship with partners and end clients, learning and understanding business models in detail across many industries.
The Partnerships & Indirect Sales team is a crucial contributor to the growth and success of our new indirect sales business unit in Hong Kong. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for building great relations with financial intermediaries and strategic partners, developing a network of intermediaries from scratch, and leveraging maximum revenue potential.
You will work closely with the Partnerships team to identify and generate new business opportunities, lead demand generation and campaigns, and engage in all steps of the Sales Cycle to ensure smooth Pipeline Progression and maximise results.
About You
- Enjoy building new relationships with a client acquisition mindset.
- Have past or current experience in selling/cross-selling FX Hedging Solutions to SMEs or Corporates in the Shanghai market.
- Interested in the financial markets, ideally with a financial background.
- Excellent communication and social skills: face-to-face, via telephone, and email.
- At least 1-2 years' experience in B2B partner-facing (or client-facing) function, ideally in the financial services or technology industry.
- Structured approach to conduct market research, planning, and organisation skills.
- Passion for creatively solving problems and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Business fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
