Key Responsibilities

A sophisticated brand lead: Work closely with BU Head, Brand teams and global comms team to develop and implement annual and project-based communications plans, environment shaping plans and branding campaigns as an integrated part of the broader business plan to achieve business objectives and elevate corporate branding.

• A seasoned professional writer: Develop compelling brand communications materials (clinical data readouts, speeches/talking points, press releases, standby statements, webpages, product fact sheets, etc.)

• Experience in managing product related issues/ crisis communication, including monitoring, evaluating negative impact on business and the company, proposing communication strategy and plan, identifying key stakeholders, and developing communication key message and material and act as the contact window to handling media inquiries.

• Media relations/resource: Build and sustain relationships with influential state-owned, business, consumer and medical media, and explore media programs/ digital media campaigns with the media outlets. Identify media opportunities and develop proactive communications plans to deliver key messages of our products and disease to the stakeholders.

• Patient activation: out-of-box think in develop brand communication strategies to maximum patient reach. Measure and track effectiveness of brand and patient advocacy communications programs.

Qualification/Requirements

• Behave in an ethics and compliance manner

• 5-8 years of experience in a communications role encompassing in brand and patient advocacy communications. Having experience in multinational pharmaceutic company.

• Exceptional writing and oral communication skills, both in Chinese and English

• Superior business acumen

• Ability to translate business goals into innovative and creative but practical communications solutions

• Strong quick learning capability

• Excellent organizational and project-management skills 

• Detail oriented and accountable to results

• Is able to work under high pressure

• Ability to carry out multi tasks under tight deadlines and achieve results in a fast-paced, changing environment

• Ability to work effectively within all levels of the organization, from senior management to entry level colleagues

• Working effectively with cross-functional teams

• Good team work, and also be a self starter and an ability to work independently.

• Previous leadership and/or people management experience a plus
