We are seeking a highly motivated Global Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team at Smiths Detection.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional to take on a challenging role that will require developing and executing business growth strategies across China. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with existing and new customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth through effective sales and marketing efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and business development, with experience working in a similar industry or sector. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

A key aspect of this role will be to develop and implement a go-to-market strategy that drives business growth and increases revenue. This will involve analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and developing targeted campaigns to engage with customers and drive sales.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for reporting monthly achievement of their plan, including progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. They will work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration, and will be expected to deliver on budgeted financial performance metrics and results.

The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
