About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Category Development Specialist to join our Upholstery team. As a key member of our category development team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with 20+ Asia suppliers and executing negotiations to secure best pricing and promotional support.

In this role, you will analyze data to strategize revenue and profit growth opportunities for the category and for specific supplier partners. You will also advance catalog expansion, develop relationships with target suppliers, and identify sales, merchandising, and operational opportunities for the category.

Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to drive change and analyze and anticipate competitor marketing, selection, and pricing strategy. A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is required, and 3+ years experience in either ecommerce, sourcing, or supply-side sales is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate with 20+ Asia suppliers to secure best pricing and promotional support
  • Analyze data to strategize revenue and profit growth opportunities for the category and for specific supplier partners
  • Advance catalog expansion and develop relationships with target suppliers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive change and implement strategic initiatives
  • Analyze and anticipate competitor marketing, selection, and pricing strategy
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field
  • 3+ years experience in either ecommerce, sourcing, or supply-side sales
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint expertise; readiness to work with data using Excel, SQL, Tableau and other tools
  • Articulate and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
