Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Leader to join our team in Shanghai as a Global BU Controlling Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume an active role within WACKER SILICONES' business units and operations, providing critical financial insights and advising on key decision-making points.
  • Analyze and present financial data, including profitability analysis, investment calculations, and risk assessments, to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Develop and implement global reporting systems, ensuring timely and accurate financial information is available to stakeholders.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of business instruments and controlling aids, driving process efficiency and cost savings.
  • Evaluate and analyze joint venture business development, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Act as a business contact person, providing advice and training on controlling-related topics to colleagues across the organization.
  • Participate in divisional projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of agile deployment, balancing workload peaks and ensuring seamless delivery of results.

Requirements:

  • Masters/Bachelors degree in business with a focus on controlling, finance, accounting or management, or a degree in chemistry with additional qualifications in business studies.
  • Several years of experience in controlling or comparable business fields in a multinational company, or experience in a business consultancy firm.
  • Very good knowledge of business administration, operational and strategic controlling methods, and production processes.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, entrepreneurial mindset, and excellent presentation and moderation techniques.
  • Fluent English and Chinese language skills, with very good software user skills (MS Office, SAP + Business Objects).

Estimated Salary Range: RMB 600,000 - RMB 800,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
