Job Opportunity Overview

The position involves contacting potential guests by telephone to sell a discounted holiday package for Anantara Vacation Club. This role requires a proactive and empathetic approach to overcome objections and persuade guests to attend a preview presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Follow a scripted presentation to effectively communicate with potential guests and maximize the number of preview packages sold or presentations booked.
  2. Support customers in purchasing and traveling on the Holiday Discovery Package by highlighting its benefits and emphasizing its fun and rewarding aspects.
  3. Ensure all guests meet the qualifications and details of participation for each offer as set forth by Anantara Vacation Club, and maintain timely and accurate documentation of such.
  4. Update customer details in the Salesforce system as required.
  5. Manage company-assigned leads to maximize conversion to preview package sales, adhering to the company's regulations on valid pass-hours.
  6. Perform additional clerical or other reasonable duties as requested by the Shanghai Call Centre management team.

Qualifications

  • High school or vocational secondary education or above
  • Excellent customer service and selling skills, including active listening, empathizing, problem solving, organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and effective verbal and written communication
  • Previous telemarketing experience and solution selling skills are preferred
  • Ability to work as a team player in a personable and positive manner
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment, handling deadlines and adapting to changing circumstances
  • Fluency in Mandarin, with English and Cantonese speaking being an added advantage
