We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Trainee to join our team as a High-Performance Sales Representative.

Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and performance.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales performance in the automation or similar industry. They will be responsible for forecasting and closing sales transactions with End Users, Partners, and OEMs to reach the quota goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Properly forecast and close sales transactions to reach the quota goal
  • Utilize the Cognex sales process to effectively demonstrate products to customers and make quick wins
  • Follow up on sales leads and schedule customer visits, seeking out all opportunities
  • Successfully carry out cold calls to seek out new business
  • Effectively conduct customer visits in a transactional sales environment
  • Collaborate with counterparts from other territories on integrated or installed opportunities
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A technical degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven sales experience and a good track record for exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in selling technical products to all levels of an organization is preferred
  • Experience in selling vision products is also preferred
