Global Private Banking Overview
HSBC Global Private Banking offers tailored relationship management services, including comprehensive banking, investment, and wealth advisory solutions to affluent clients and their families worldwide. Our business leverages the robust heritage and prudent long-term vision of the HSBC Group to uncover and present new avenues for our clients to manage and safeguard their wealth.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Develop and nurture new private banking connections while overseeing existing client relationships to enhance Assets Under Management and Revenue.
- Regularly assess clients' portfolios to pinpoint additional business prospects and potential revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with various HSBC divisions, including Wealth and Personal Banking, Commercial Banking, and Global Banking and Markets, to identify cross-selling opportunities and present all relevant HSBC products and services to our clientele.
- Utilize HSBC's extensive channels, network, and brand to engage in business development activities targeting International Private Wealth clients.
- Ensure adherence to HSBC's internal control protocols, encompassing risk management, regulatory compliance, and financial crime prevention.
- Effectively implement internal and external audit recommendations alongside any issues raised by regulatory bodies.
- Work to minimize operational losses.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in relationship management, preferably within private banking, commercial banking, or investment banking sectors.
- A proven history of asset acquisition, growth, and revenue generation.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- A strong commitment to client service excellence.
- A comprehensive understanding of financial markets and wealth management offerings.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the capability to think innovatively to address challenges.
