Position Overview

This role involves collaborating with various HR teams to provide HR expertise to the management team and employees, utilizing company resources to align business priorities with effective HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist the HR Manager in communicating and implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company guidelines. Regularly train and refresh managers and employees on HR policies and processes, providing timely responses to inquiries.
  2. Support the HR Manager in engaging senior leaders with employees and organizing employee engagement initiatives, gathering feedback and suggestions to enhance employee experience and satisfaction.
  3. Collaborate with the HR Manager to understand business priorities, develop workforce planning, and talent development strategies, leveraging company resources to deliver HR solutions.
  4. Continuously monitor HR metrics and reports, such as attrition rates and time-to-fill statistics, analyze data, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  5. Address employee-related issues, consulting with SABIC legal and local labor authorities to ensure solutions align with key stakeholders.
  6. Oversee the hiring and exit processes.
  7. Support the Talent Review Process (TRP).
  8. Regularly update employees on the benefits scheme.
  9. In accordance with site ISO and OMS requirements, develop an annual training plan with site managers and ensure effective execution.
  10. Complete additional tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
  • A minimum of 5 years of solid HR generalist experience in a multinational manufacturing environment with over 200 employees.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and payroll is essential.
  • Experience in employee engagement initiatives is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Chinese labor laws.
  • Proficient in HR processes, including hiring, exit, and performance management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas such as IF, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Well-organized with a structured approach to problem-solving, demonstrating carefulness, fairness, and integrity.
