Your Role at Impact

As a Marketing Development Representative, you will get to learn from a management team with a proven track record and be put on a fast track to develop your career. You'll engage with marketing leaders from top-tier brands and innovative start-ups, helping them understand how Impact can bring new value to their business.



This role will be based in our Greater China headquarter office in Shanghai. As a Marketing Development Representative, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities for our organization.



You will discover, plan, and prospect new accounts that will drive long-term success for our customers and our business. This includes educating and qualifying prospects about our transformative technology and the solution Impact provides for their marketing challenges.



You will create opportunities for our account executive team through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling techniques. You will work closely with Account Executives to build a pipeline for Impact's products.



Track and manage prospects through Salesforce.com. Participate in team meetings, networking, trade show events, and activities to grow the business. Provide valuable market and product feedback to continue driving Impact's business development strategy.



What You'll Do


  • Educate and qualify prospects about our transformative technology and the solution Impact provides for their marketing challenges
  • Create opportunities for our account executive team through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling techniques
  • Work closely with Account Executives to build a pipeline for Impact's products
  • Track and manage prospects through Salesforce.com
  • Participate in team meetings, networking, trade show events, and activities to grow the business
  • Provide valuable market and product feedback to continue driving Impact's business development strategy
  • Able to complete tasks and attain quota+ effectively and resourcefully along with mastering diagnostic and demo calls via roleplay and shadowing AEs and sales leadership
  • Responsible for leading diagnostics calls with inbound leads
  • Drive strategy and creation of messaging to be used in core verticals 11.4.0 level product training is to be focused on and completed
  • Mentor to less tenured BDRs
  • Able to participate in 1:1 mentor program with AE or sales leadership


Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum

  • DETAIL ORIENTED
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree a plus
  • Experience in any customer-facing service industry (retail, telesales, real-estate etc.)
  • Excited by the prospect of getting an incredible amount of experience with all critical business functions - Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Client Services, Product, Technology, and Finance
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com is a plus
  • Above all else - hungry, humble, and smart. Self-motivated and can get passionate about marketing & technology
  • Fluent in Chinese and English
