Strategic Business Development and Product Growth Manager

Job Summary:
We're looking for a Strategic Business Development and Product Growth Manager to drive business growth and product development in the building automation control industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business development, product management, and a proven track record of driving growth and change in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
This unique position combines business development expertise with product management acumen, allowing you to identify and capitalize on market opportunities while shaping the future of our product offerings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing persuasive approaches and proposals to convert potential clients into business customers, working closely with cross-functional teams to manage the activities of workers charged with developing business for the corporation, and serving as a vital member of the product management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to drive new customer acquisition and market share growth within the building automation control sector.
- Identify and build strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential and existing customer accounts.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
- Negotiate and close new business deals, ensuring alignment with company goals and profitability.
- Product Management:
- Provide effective leadership for product development with functional teams.
- Consistently meet short and long-term deadlines.
- Serve as an influential individual contributor and cross-functional team member.
- Work closely with counterparts in Europe & US to coordinate & understand global markets.
Requirements:
- Education: Four-year degree in business or engineering.
- Experience: Minimum five years of experience in business development, product management, or a combination of both in the building automation control industry or a related B2B technology sector.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English & Mandarin. Superior group presentation skills. Strong computer skills, namely with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and form a business growth strategy and convert to the offering roadmap.
Salary:$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
