Goodyear, a global leader in tire manufacturing, is seeking an experienced IT professional to join its team as a Digital Transformation and Strategic Growth IT Leader.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual with 7-8 years of experience in applying current information technology to specific areas of the business, particularly in digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to act decisively and swiftly identify problems and drive towards solutions.

The successful candidate will also possess excellent project management skills, with a PMP certification preferred. They should have a cross-functional mindset with good business acumen and be able to lead changes with open-mindedness and strong willingness/skills. Additionally, they will have comprehensive understanding in operating processes, strong influencing and convincing skills, pro-active and effective interpersonal communication skills, and a strong sense of ownership.

In this role, you will support the head of strategic program and team to enhance Route-To-Market (RTM) B2B and App functions and expand the reach of Goodyear mobile platform from current Goodyear tire retailers. You will act as an IT project manager and expert by bringing IT related knowledge, experience, initiatives with solid intake process and comprehensive ownership from plan, function development and implementation.

You will collaborate with IT team in APP function development after business requirements submission, and be responsible for end-to-end IT development process from business requirements communication till post-launch hyper-care to drive optimal working efficiency in IT part. Furthermore, you will work as a leader in 3rd party vendor management and be responsible for spending tracking and budget control.

As a partner with business project leaders in other China key via IT solution initiating, end-to-end IT development process implementing and overall IT structure alignment, you will support Head of strategic program and join regular reviews for China's Strategic Program reviews with China and APEX SteerCo (AP President, AP CFO, AP Consumer PBU VP, and China MD) to report on progress, escalate issues and decisions in order to advance China Direct-to-retail business model and other key projects.

You will provide project management training and coaching to project team members to develop project management capability.
