Lead Payments Team for Adyen
At Adyen, we're looking for an experienced and inspirational leader to join our Account Management team. As a Strategic Account Manager, you'll be responsible for building, mentoring, and coaching a team of account managers who drive commercial growth through strategic merchant relationships and payments revenue. Your expertise in driving revenue, streamlining operations, fostering collaboration, and engaging with executives will be invaluable in our China business.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to increase share of wallet, upselling, and cross-selling for our enterprise merchants.
- Set clear individual and team goals focused on revenue growth and report on performance at an executive level.
- Create an inspiring and collaborative environment with an open feedback culture, motivate team members, and encourage creativity while understanding training needs.
- Provide coaching in areas such as strategic account planning, contract negotiations, product roadmap discussions, and executive engagement.
Your Ideal Profile
- You're a dynamic, hands-on self-starter with a proven commercial edge and entrepreneurial drive.
- Payment experience with a strong understanding of alternative payments methods and card acquiring industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with C-suites in enterprise companies.
- At least 2+ years of experience in managing teams and a track record of growing share of wallet, cross-selling, and upselling.
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with global payments strategies and a deep understanding of the e-commerce, digital, online marketplaces, or platform industry.
- Full proficiency in Mandarin and English.
