Job Description

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

Developing market opportunities and introducing new clients within the Ports & Boarders and Urban Security segments across China to build strong and long-term relationships Deeper involvement in Aviation key customer projects Build out a pipeline of projects and clients by developing and following a go-to-market strategy around key target customers and generally providing channel insights Report monthly achievement of their plan, the upsides, progress and risks, and plan and communicate the mitigating action they are taking for tackling the risks within their segments across China. Build and deliver on budgeted financial performance metrics and results Responsible for organizing and participating annual exhibitions

Sales & Customer Management

Responsible for customer engagement, identifying potential new customers and building/maintaining relationships with them as well as any existing customers Responsible for generating demand for Smiths Detection products, as well as defining and educating customers around value proposition Lead major negotiations, bid qualification and sales including contract negotiation and order finalization with support from wider team where relevant Convey customer requirements to design engineering, R&D and operations teams Ensure all the local laws and regulations are adhered to

Product & Program Delivery

Work with all relevant parts of the business to ensure that all orders are on track to be delivered on time, on budget and at the desired customer quality Manage the relationship with service counterpart to ensure successful sales, installation and after-market service of customer products and solutions Duties & Responsibilities

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proven ability to scale a market and customer base Ability to understand technical products and to promote technology to customers Proven ability to manage stakeholder complexity and make an impact to both internally and externally Experience either within a technical environment and or technical degree 5-8 years’ experience but not necessarily limited to this range Aviation Ports & Boarders, Urban Security sector could be a bonus but not essential Self-driven who looks to exceed goals Proactive and strong execution capability

Fluent listening, speaking, reading and writing capability in English
