Head of China Business Development for Asset Management

FIL Fund Management (China) Company Limited seeks an experienced professional to drive business development and client engagement activities in mainland China.
About the Opportunity- To facilitate the development of Fidelity's China strategy, particularly launching new funds and achieving sales targets, while maintaining client relationships.
- Participate in roadshows and contribute to client meetings as needed.
- Assist with acquiring potential clients, acting as a point of contact for clients/prospects for inquiries.
- Work on existing client retention, anticipating possible issues and solutions ahead of specific dates, such as dealing days.
- Engage with domestic market participants, including mutual funds, security firms, private funds, etc., to obtain relevant industry insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development and Relationship Management- Elevate FIL's global protocols, processes, and procedures within China's onshore distribution business.
- Liaise with various internal teams to drive solutions for best practices in onshore business.
- Deliver comprehensive project plans for client implementations.
- Manage internal coordination of activities related to new client take-on and liaise regularly with relevant internal contacts and relationship owners.
- Tailor product/strategy materials to specific client needs in collaboration with the investment team, legal, and compliance teams, marketing teams, and other regional teams.
- Research market and client sentiment to provide advice on timing and design of new fund issues.
