Leading Business Development Manager for China Semiconductor Market

The Senior Strategic Marketing Manager for China will lead the development of strategic marketing initiatives, aligning ASML's business strategy with customer and market needs.
About the JobThis role involves working closely with customers, business lines, and corporate strategy teams to drive long-term business success through understanding of semiconductor ecosystem, market, and technology changes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement customer capacity scenarios aligned with end-market demand and opportunities for new and installed systems.
- Investigate and strategize the impact of market and technology developments on ASML's future business and opportunities, embedding them in ASML's corporate strategy.
- Develop and align competition analysis and competitive positioning strategy.
- Drive voice of Customer in ASML long-term strategy process, supporting aligning long-term customer roadmaps and node requirements.
- Work closely together with customer teams, business lines, and corporate strategy teams.
- Align insights over multiple regions and assess impact on China market of extra-regional developments.
- Bachelor in Engineering or Physical Science; MBA or additional business degree is a strong plus.
- 10+ years of industry experience in electronic hardware technology, of which roles in semiconductor manufacturing and design are highly preferred.
- Recognized industry professional with broad understanding of semiconductor technology, markets, and ecosystem.
- Proven record in customer and executive communication and presentation.
- Experience of Lithography systems and customer application strongly preferred.
- Deep analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
- Creative, out-of-the-box thinker.
- Excellent communicator and presenter in both Chinese and English – including bridging across cultures.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and influence without power.
- Ability to build bridges across disciplines, both on an executive level, and on an expert technical level.
ASML offers a competitive salary of around $120,000 per year, as well as benefits including 10-15% domestic and international travel.
