Job Description

Cathay Pacific Airways Limited is a leading international airline, and we are seeking a skilled Global Sales Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and delivering exceptional sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve agreed-upon targets and expand our customer base.
  • Maintain and grow existing portfolio accounts, ensuring they meet their sales potential.
  • Conduct regular sales visits to clients, providing updates on products and services, and fostering positive relationships.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of sales support and after-sales service.
  • Represent Cathay Pacific at industry events and networking opportunities.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years of recent experience in sales, preferably in the aviation or travel industry.
  • Demonstrable networking and relationship management skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Good negotiation skills, with experience in securing contracts and agreements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and PRISM is preferred.
