The Product Sales Specialist is responsible for enhancing the cash management and trade finance portfolio to achieve revenue goals and key performance indicators, aligning with the broader objectives of the Global Transaction Services (GTS) division.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the expansion of the cash management and trade finance client base to meet set revenue targets and sales performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to develop comprehensive account plans and customer segment objectives.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including GTS Product and Implementation teams, to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Identify market demands and opportunities in collaboration with product management, converting these insights into actionable business requirements.
- Achieve revenue targets by supporting Relationship Managers and leveraging personal networks to convert qualified leads into successful partnerships.
- Continuously enhance the bank's share of wallet with existing clients through strategic engagement.
- Develop a robust pipeline of prospects to ensure revenue goals are met, covering all stages of the sales process.
- Utilize proactive sales techniques to expedite the closure of deals and capture revenue swiftly.
- Establish a professional reputation within the business unit to foster referrals and generate new leads.
- Conduct presentations for both internal and external stakeholders to showcase product offerings.
- Collaborate with other business units to design cash and trade solutions that maximize customer engagement.
- Facilitate communication channels with Relationship Managers for new product launches, updates, and success stories.
- Work across functional teams to enhance product offerings and resolve client issues effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant banking experience in the Chinese market.
- Experience in cash management and trade finance sales is advantageous.
- Preferred experience in servicing Western multinational corporations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
- Comprehensive knowledge of trade-related products in the Chinese market.
- Deep understanding of the banking sector in China.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in global transaction services.
