Job Summary

As a Product Sales Specialist at DBS Bank, you will be responsible for driving the cash management and trade finance portfolio to deliver revenue targets and meet overall business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of trade related products in the China market and excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the cash management and trade finance portfolio to deliver revenue targets and meet overall business objectives.
  • Work with Relationship Managers to align on overall account plans and customer segment targets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver agreed solutions and identify market requirements and opportunities.
  • Penetrate further into existing clients to increase DBS' share of wallet.
  • Develop a strong pipeline to meet revenue targets and accelerate closure of pipeline deals through aggressive sales techniques.
  • Gain the respect and trust of the BU community as a professional sales manager to generate referrals and new leads.
  • Conduct presentations to internal and external customers to promote GTS products and services.
  • Work with other BUs to structure cash or trade solutions for customers to achieve greater share of customers' wallet size.

Requirements
  • Degree holder or equivalent.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
  • Minimum 8 years' relevant banking experience in China.
  • Cash management and trade finance sales and marketing experience is an added advantage.
  • Experience on covering Western MNC clients is preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients both internal and external.
  • In-depth knowledge of trade related products in China market.
  • Good knowledge of banking in China.
  • Knowledge and experience in global transaction services.
