Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Account Director to join our team in East China. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans to ensure objectives and budgets are met.
About the Role
This position involves managing regional strategic accounts, allocating time to optimize results from a portfolio of customers, and selecting opportunities for growth. You will also act as a liaison between corporate decision makers and local plant sites handled by the sales team.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage Medical Tape/Hygiene regional strategic accounts, allocating appropriate time to optimize results from a portfolio of customers.
- Strategic Sales Role involving calling on Headquarter sites of multi-plant customers and single site considered strategic to the business.
- Act as liaison between corporate decision makers and local plant sites handled by the sales team.
- Drive and deliver commercial goals, optimizing share, price, and profitability.
- Dotted line responsibility for coaching and development of sales & TS personnel.
- Develop and own a strategic plan for own accounts, driving execution through expert communication, coordination of activities, and influence of indirect resources.
- Develop sales funnel for future growth opportunities.
- One voice to the customer.
- Anticipate and meet the needs of the customer.
- Consistently apply sales process and use of all sales tools.
- Understand the importance of applying good influence management skills to get the best out of individuals and teams.
- Deliver accurate, clear, and concise messages orally and/or in writing to effectively inform an individual or group.
- Negotiate skillfully in all situations, including at headquarters with procurement professionals.
- Develop own strategic plans with well-considered research and identified opportunity.
- Present simple and complex topics in a variety of settings, both inside and outside the organization.
- Allocate 20% of time prospecting, researching, and understanding share of wallet data across customers' business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in chemistry, marketing, and sales management (or other majors).
- At least 5+ years working experience with chemicals and 3+ years of sales experience in the industrial market field.
- Proven track record of delivering aggressive sales growth targets.
- Strong ability to grow sales revenue and manage accounts receivable.
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
