  1. Lead the Private Equities, Client Solutions team in Shanghai to achieve commercial targets and develop the Financial Service client base.
  2. Develop a business plan in collaboration with the Leadership team, Sales team, and other GLG stakeholders to drive growth and revenue.
  3. Manage a book of clients in the financial service space, delivering high-class client service and setting an example for the team.
  4. Coaching team members and supporting direct reports in their professional development plans to ensure best-in-class client service practices.
  5. Facilitate high-value engagements between GLG experts and clients while upholding industry-leading standards in Compliance.
  6. Support the Sales team in growing GLG client relationships in Greater China through proactive outreach, project execution, and client feedback.
  7. Develop relationships with GLG's most respected thought leaders and business professionals to drive business growth.
  8. Stay up-to-date on private capital news and events to provide valuable insights to clients in collaboration with the Sales team.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting, banking, information services, market research, or professional services.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Strong go-getter attitude and track record of business growth turnaround.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of client service professionals.
  • Successful track record of working in a fast-paced, client-service environment with a passion for problem-solving and a client-centric mindset.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and interest in sales, negotiation, or networking with high-end professionals.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize activities effectively while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills and willingness to engage senior professionals as a knowledge and research partner.
