Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Molex. This is a key role for driving growth and expansion of our TSBU Products at specified OEMs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies for revenue growth, profitability, and customer base expansion.
  • Implement plans for Chengdu Design Center to support local design and product development.
  • Remove barriers and make priority decisions to enable TSBU products to be successful at specified OEMs.
  • Escalate barriers to GIG Auto and TSBU Management as necessary.

What You Will Do

  • Be an expert on assigned OEM accounts and TSBU, representing Molex in front of customers.
  • Act as a communication channel between TSBU and sales force, leading and coordinating platform design-in opportunities.
  • Conduct product trainings and introductions to customers, sales teams, and distribution teams.
  • Build relationships with OEM core teams, especially connector-related teams.
  • Filter out real opportunities and work with sales teams to create CRM opportunities and support new CRM opportunities to be won.
  • Collect information and conduct surveys at specified OEMs for connector technical requirements, specifications, design trends, and market trends information.
  • Analyze relative information and develop new development opportunities.
  • Create strategies for TSBU revenue and profit growth, leading teams to execute and achieve goals.
  • Ensure Molex advanced technology and products are introduced and accepted by OEMs to generate more opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical area of study.
  • 6-10 years of experience in product management, product marketing, sales management, sales engineering, product engineering management, or project management at a connector company for the automotive industry or automotive tier 1.
  • Familiarity with the automotive connector industry, including basic knowledge, industry standards, and OEM requirements.
  • Strong business and market sense, negotiation skills, and ability to achieve business goals and solve problems for win-win scenarios.
  • Strong analytic and executive ability, with clear strategic direction and ability to lead teams to create plans and implement with positive results.
  • English communication skills to express opinions and facts accurately internally and externally.
