About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team in China. As a Senior Account Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams within Snap, as well as external stakeholders to grow advertising revenue. Your role will include thinking strategically about how to tailor Snap's products to a client's unique needs, setting a campaign live, troubleshooting and quickly resolving issues as they arise.

Responsibilities
  1. Account Optimization: Provide account optimization guidance to strategic advertising clients.
  2. Product Advocacy: Serve as a product advocate for Snap's new and existing products, advising on best practices and bespoke campaign optimizations, and product beta participation.
  3. Campaign Performance Analysis: Dive deep into campaign performance data: Guide KPI-driven measurement strategies, Identify performance trends, seasonality trends, and campaign optimizations to achieve results, and provide recommendations for upsell opportunities.
  4. Operational Support: Provide day-to-day operational support for partners, including managing ad rejection escalations, building audience engagement segments, trafficking ads using Snap's internal tools, and generating post-campaign reports.
  5. Program Development: Partner with Snap's management team to develop programs and initiatives to streamline sales operations, increase advertiser awareness, and uplevel advertiser expertise on Snap's advertising platform.
  6. Issue Resolution: Identify, escalate, and resolve client or partner issues, working with cross-functional teams as required.
  7. Process Management: Manage internal processes for Creative Service Agreements, campaign exceptions, Ad Design Requests, Coupon Generations, and clearly communicate policies to different teams.
  8. CRM Data Management: Maintain accurate CRM data in Salesforce.com.
Requirements
  • Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5+ years experience in the digital media industry, with a focus on performance and brand marketing, ad-tech, programmatic in real-time bidding marketplaces, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with attention to detail, Strong Google Sheets/Slides skills, experience with analyzing datasets, and delivering actionable insights, Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while maintaining strict attention to detail and strong ownership.
  • Language: Fluency in English and Mandarin.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Digital Marketing Landscape: Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape of China export online market would be a plus.
  • Export Retail & Gaming Industry: Experience in export retail & gaming industry would be beneficial.
  • Advertising Performance Metrics: Understanding of advertising performance metrics and ecosystem would be advantageous.
  • Media Management: Understanding of media management within a biddable auction advertising environment and demonstrated skill in educating others (e.g., advertisers, agencies).
  • Insight Sharing: Ability to summarize insights and best practices, and share them with partners and customers.
  • Strategic Advertiser Management: Experience in managing and enabling strategic advertisers.
  • Dynamic Environment: Ability to perform well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing environments.
  • Internal & External Partnerships: Background working with both internal and external partners.
