We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Business Development Leader to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Assess and identify business development opportunities through fact-based analysis and develop compelling justifications for business initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and licensing agreements.
- Relationship Management: Engage potential partners and manage communications and relationships to drive business growth and success.
- Due Diligence and Deal Structuring: Participate in due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiations to ensure successful execution of business development initiatives.
- Deal Execution: Oversee the deal process and execution to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years of working experience, with a significant amount spent in business development, M&A, financial advisory, or management consulting.
- Education: Strong academic background, with preference given to those with an MBA or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Ability to think strategically and align with company objectives for the long term, strong analytical and technical skills to evaluate opportunities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in both Chinese and English, ability to think critically and analyze complex problems from multiple perspectives, motivated, highly organized, friendly, and adept at working collaboratively.
- Industry Experience: Experience in relevant industries a plus (life science, analytical instruments, medical device).
