As a Key Account Manager at Covestro, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating business activities for our EP HC team at key accounts. Your primary task will be to develop and implement account strategies, aligning with industry, application, and product strategies. You will communicate these strategies and account plans with internal supportive functions to achieve account targets and build a core account team.

  1. Develop and Implement Account Strategies
  2. Manage and Build Core Account Teams
  3. Deliver Sales Targets in Volume and Margin
  4. Identify and Qualify Prospects
  5. Develop Relationships with Key Decision Makers
  6. Share Market Insights and Knowledge

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement account strategies for key customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
  • Lead and manage core account teams to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Share market insights and knowledge with internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of commercial experience in the Polymer industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage projects.
  • Good knowledge of channel management and customer relationship management.
  • Strong learning capability and team player.
