Business Development Opportunities

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Business Development to identify and pursue business development opportunities through fact-based analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, with a preference for those with an MBA or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and identify business development opportunities through fact-based analysis
  • Develop compelling justifications for business development initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and licensing agreements
  • Engage potential partners and manage communications & relationships
  • Participate in due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiations
  • Oversee the deal process and execution to achieve objectives

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of working experience, with a significant amount spent in business development, M&A, financial advisory, or management consulting
  • Strong analytical and technical skills to evaluate opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in both Chinese and English
  • Ability to think critically and analyze complex problems from multiple perspectives
  • Motivated, highly organized, friendly, and adept at working collaboratively
