Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Bristol Myers Squibb. This role will be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives in a specific geographic region, driving business growth and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of sales representatives to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers
  • Collect and analyze customer data to identify business opportunities and develop targeted sales plans
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. life sciences, business)
  • 4-5 years of sales experience, with at least 2-3 years of team management experience
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
