Ashland is seeking a Sales Business Development Manager for our Life Science business unit in China. This role will be responsible for maintaining existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sales operations in assigned territory, focusing on personal sales targets, new business development, and troubleshooting on problem or key markets.
  • Work closely with marketing, technology, and supply chain functions in China.
  • Maintain existing accounts and develop new business opportunities.
  • Take responsibility for the achievement of sales goals.
  • Build strong relationships with key strategic accounts, clients, and distributors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical, or Polymer materials related.
  • Two years of working experience in sales function.
  • Significant travel to customers (over 50%) required.
  • Good command of computer, good interpersonal and communication skills, high sense of responsibility.
