Your Role
As a Commercial Sales Manager for Fragrance Industry, you will drive sustainable profitable sales and IFF market share growth by identifying customer needs and opportunities, establishing solid customer relationships, and promoting relevant IFF fragrance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support local & regional projects to meet deadlines and customer requirements through identification of customer needs, market trend analysis, and working with cross-functional teams.
- Establish and execute local sales/account management strategy, forecast, planning, and budgeting.
- Build awareness and understanding of cross-functional customer organization and focus on building relationships with customer decision makers.
- Set clear commercial targets annually and define required account resources aligned to strategic plan.
- Monitor account sales performance and provide strategic project updates to line management.
Requirements
Experience:
Between 1-3 years in the Fragrance Industry in Sales.
Around 4-6 years of Sales experience in other industries preferably FMCG, Flavors, Chemical/Ingredients, etc.
Skills:
- Ability to deal with financial concepts/processes and work with IT systems.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders and connection with other countries, regions, and global account team.
- Passion for fragrance with strong interests in product development, consumers, and market understanding.
- Sound fragrance knowledge and olfactive skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Great communication and presentation skills.
Essential:
Preferable Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
