About the Role

We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Category Lead to join our team in Shanghai. This is a permanent position that will play a key role in driving omni sales performance and customer centricity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute commercial agenda and merchandising strategy to meet targets in e-com markets by optimizing internal- and external exposure and pricing.
  • Understand customer needs, provide customers with what they want, and sell products and total assortment in the best possible way by setting sales goals and execution strategy for your concept in alignment with the regional team.
  • Manage assortment, product lifecycle, and stock management from an operational and executional sales perspective by managing your concept to achieve stock freshness with appropriate reductions cost and commercial planning.
  • Identify, organize in Ecom team, and share with regional team, the commercial heartbeats and calendar specificities of each of your digital platforms to secure relevance and customers engagement on each touch point.
  • Work closely with BT team to identify on-site shopping experience needs, backend upgrades, and also define analysis tools needed to support your understanding of our customer's journey.
  • Strategize the operational needs and share with close collaborators VM, Marketing, social, Ecom analyst, Ecom operation team to secure excellence commercial execution.
  • Study market trends and touch points performances to elaborate day-to-day content management site needs with your VM partner and adapt Global Content and strategy to your market relevance.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A University Degree, preferably in Business, Economics, or Fashion.
  • At least 2 years of E-commerce experience and knowledge within Omni retail and Assortment.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in Chinese & English, both written and spoken.
  • A strong interest in data and previous experience within web analytics as well as Google Analytics.
  • Good skills in MS Office, especially in Excel and analytical tools, Power BI, and Google Analytics.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is around RMB 150,000 - 200,000 per year, depending on experience.
