Microsoft's Consumer Sales Organization (CSO) is a global team responsible for sales across Devices & Creativity (Windows, Microsoft 365, and Surface) and Gaming. Our team works with ecosystem partners and internal business groups to drive digital excellence and e-commerce capability, accelerate cloud and subscription adoption, and deliver compelling experiences combining intelligent edge devices and services.
The Devices & Creativity Sales Partner Account Manager for the GCR markets is responsible for the sales through retailers, distributors, and mobile operators of all Devices & Creativity products. This role works with channel partners to provide sales leadership, transform business models, and provide operational support expertise to drive Microsoft's strategy and enable partner growth.
To succeed in this role, you will require 5+ years of partner management, sales, business development, or related experience in the technology industry. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or a Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, is also required. Additionally, you should have 2+ years' experience with planning, budgeting, and project management activities, and be familiar with e-commerce channels.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing joint partner account plans to achieve sales targets and align with Microsoft's goals.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders on plan execution and SKU assortment portfolio.
- Negotiating and executing programs and promotions with partners, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Facilitating partner relationships with distribution management teams to ensure order book quality and forecasting accuracy.
- Tracking performance metrics and providing insights to ensure revenue targets are met.
- Delivering success by landing revenue targets.
- Utilizing data analytics tools to analyze online sales performance and optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Orchestrating internal stakeholders to manage funnel management, customer journey, and user experience.
- Developing action plans to improve partner satisfaction scores based on feedback.
- Deepening understanding of the e-commerce and social commerce channels, including partner capabilities and market trends.
Collaborate effectively with other Microsoft field teams to maximize partner business opportunities.
