Job Summary:

Cavotec is a leading cleantech company that designs and delivers connection and electrification solutions to enable the decarbonization of ports and industrial applications. We are seeking a highly skilled Area Sales Engineer to join our team in China.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline tracked on the Salesforce CRM system
  • Closing and delivering sales results based on the pipeline while reporting progress on projects to the Sales team on a regular basis
  • Identifying new business opportunities in line with the guidelines of the Sales Lead and Group business strategy
  • Maintaining and developing high-level sales relationships in order to maintain and increase market quotas, acting as a market leader in the assigned area
  • Planning, developing, and executing business development activities in the assigned area, following the guidelines of the Regional Sales Director
  • Driving the activities and actions in the assigned area and market for relevant products, services, and spare parts sales

Requirements:

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering desired, or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in value selling and market knowledge. Experience in the division's systems, products, and business region will be a must
  • Experience in negotiating international sales contracts
  • Management and interpersonal skills
  • Good communicator, fluency in English (both spoken and written)
  • Sales forecasting
  • Contract negotiation
  • Team management and development
  • Leadership, Communication, Problem Solving

Regular travel is required.
