Job Title: Sales Director for Greater China

BSI is seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our sales team in Greater China. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth and sales excellence in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the sales team in Greater China, creating a high-performance culture and driving sales growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and increase market share.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, qualifying and pursuing opportunities that meet business criteria.
  • Oversee bids and tenders, reviewing client feedback and market intelligence to drive improvements in process and conversion rates.
  • Lead the sales team, developing and retaining talent, and ensuring continuous succession planning.
  • Develop a high-performing sales team by selecting the best talent, setting high expectations, and coaching employees to achieve greatness.
  • Identify market opportunities, forecasting business growth, and establishing targeted market share.
  • Lead daily sales operations, working closely with internal teams to ensure compliance to governance procedures.
  • Develop and agree baseline performance targets with the Finance Director, taking responsibility for meeting expectations of forecast accuracy.
  • Manage the accurate creation and timely reporting of business sales performance, ensuring optimal activity and pipeline reporting for improved forecast accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 10 years of sales leadership experience, including management of a sizeable team.
  • Good command of Mandarin and English required.
  • Proven sales leadership experience, with a proven record of exceeding targets and a positive attitude.
  • Exemplify a high level of compliance in accordance with business requirements.
  • Able to communicate, present, and influence at all levels within an organization, including C-level.
  • Good command of customer relationship exploration, maintenance, and development.
  • Self-discipline with good planning and organizing capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with working under pressure.
  • Result-driven.
  • Analytical in data, clear, and open-minded.
  • Strong ethics and discipline.
  • A willingness to embrace and lead change in an exciting innovative business.
